Belinda Carlisle
Belinda Carlisle
Overview
Belinda Carlisle, who first rose to fame as the lead vocalist of The Go-Go's and has since flourished as a solo artist, will present a New Year’s stage to color the season. The Go-Go's, a Girls’ band, were formed in 1978. Their debut album, Beauty and the Beat, became the first album by an all-female band to reach No. 1 in the United States. Belinda began pursuing solo projects around 1985, and her single "Heaven Is a Place on Earth" topped both the US and UK singles charts. In Japan, it has frequently been used on TV programs, and it remains beloved today as one of the defining songs of the 1980s. Having matured as an artist, Belinda will perform many timeless classics up close in a club-style live show that is a must for all pop fans—don’t miss it.
