Acoustic guitarist Kotaro Oshio, who continues to be active, will appear. In 2002, soon after his major-label debut in Japan, he also made his major-label debut in the United States. He has performed at the Montreux Jazz Festival for three consecutive years. Furthermore, he has expanded his activities across Asia, earning high acclaim not only in Japan but worldwide. While centering his activities on live performances, he has also broadened his range by composing film scores and music for commercials. His guitar playing, utilizing a variety of techniques such as open tuning and tapping, expresses a supple resonance and a powerful performance with timeless appeal. In February 2019, he released his 15th original album, “Encounter.” He continues to refine his musicality. Please enjoy a richly abundant sound world that seems beyond a single guitar.
