Not only active as a solo artist, but also continuing to be involved in a wide range of activities through collaborations with many artists and as a composer, arranger, and producer, pianist Tetsu Shioya, and singer-songwriter Ayako Ikeda—who expresses a musical world by weaving lyrics and melodies that value the Japanese “sound,” with a transparent vocal timbre that threads the heart’s voice—will give a duo performance. Look forward to what kind of chemistry the two will show on stage, having linked their worlds through Ikeda’s self-founded music festival “Yakushima Forest Festival” and, among other things, the co-creation of the song “A Letter to Tomorrow,” which she provided to Aoi Teshima and which became a drama theme song.
