Not only solo, Kyoko—who continues to ride at the forefront of Japan’s rock scene alongside BARBEE BOYS and Fuku Mimi—brings her new album ‘VIOLET’ to the stage in 2021. After BARBEE BOYS disbanded in 1992, she debuted as a solo artist with the single “DISTANCIA ~ This Heart’s Promise ~.” Since then, in addition to her career as an artist, she has been active across radio, television, and more. She has also repeatedly demonstrated her presence on BARBEE BOYS’ reunion stages. How she will express the world view of her new album, shaped by the further challenges and fulfillment of her solo projects, remains to be seen. A highly anticipated performance that has us buzzing with excitement.
