Michiya Haruhata, the guitarist for Japan’s representative band TUBE, has decided to launch his first solo tour at Billboard Live in February 2022 to mark the 35th year since his solo debut. While continuing his vigorous activity as a solo artist in parallel with the band, this will be the first time he performs with such a minimalist lineup, and as a first step toward his future musical activities, this new challenge is certainly worth a look. He is supported by keyboardist Yusuke Miyazaki, who has frequently supported TUBE, with rotating guests including guitarist Tetsurō Toyama and cellist Yuki Mizuno. With three distinct personalities centered around the guitar, they are sure to fully showcase the appeal of instrumental music. As the tour title “SPRING HAS COME” suggests, please look forward to a new kind of “spring” that can only be experienced at Billboard Live.
