An amorphous collective formed by musician Shuta Hasunuma and Indian tabla player U-Zhaan made their first appearance at Billboard Live in spring 2022. They have been performing live with numerous artists and producing music since 2012. They contributed the soundtrack for the 2016 film The Man Who Went Beyond Manga: Akatsuka Fujio. In 2017, they released the album 2 Tone, featuring guests Arto Lindsay, Ryuichi Sakamoto, and Devendra Banhart. The following year, an analog LP edition of the album was released worldwide, and they held a release show in New York, continuing to be active worldwide. Their genre-spanning, boundary-crossing performance style—encompassing experimental music, ambient, techno, pop, and Indian music—creates unforgettable music that continues to captivate many listeners.
