David Foster
AN INTIMATE EVENING WITH DAVID FOSTER
Billboard Live 15th Anniversary Premium Live
Note: On August 22 and 23, the performances will run during special hours.
Overview
Undoubtedly one of the world’s most renowned producers, David Foster makes his highly anticipated Billboard Live debut. He began his career in 1971 as Skylark, and debuted the following year with “Wildflower.” After the band disbanded, he shifted to composing and producing, and in 1979 earned his first Grammy Award for Best R&B Song for “After the Love Has Gone,” a song he wrote for Earth, Wind & Fire. Since then, he has produced major hits for acclaimed artists such as Chicago, Natalie Cole, Whitney Houston, Madonna, Michael Jackson, and Frank Sinatra, and, as an executive at the venerable Atlantic Records, founded his own label and discovered numerous artists. Furthermore, for this performance, Jonah from the Swedish pop‑rock band Dirty Loops—who signed their first contract with the label he chairs—will join as a guest. We invite you to fully enjoy this legend’s “INTIMATE EVENING” — an intimate night — who has continually delivered era‑defining songs to the world.
