Overview
Last year, marking its 45th anniversary, CASIOPEA-P4, Japan’s leading fusion band now entering its fourth era, will launch a spring Billboard Live tour. Since their formation in 1977, they have released numerous hits such as 'ASAYAKE' and 'DOMINO LINE,' and have continued to lead Japan’s fusion scene up to the present. In 2022, it is still fresh in memory that they held the graduation concert of their long-time drummer Akira Jimbo (Special Support) here at Billboard Live. In the same year, drummer Yoshinori Imai joined as the first official member in 25 years, and the album 'NEW TOPICS' was released. Having entered a new phase, their virtuoso live performances, continually evolving in real time, are not to be missed.
