With a transparent, angelic voice that captivates people, singer-songwriter Priscilla Ahn makes a seven-year comeback with a new release. Her debut album Good Day, released in 2008 on Blue Note Records, includes the track "Dream," which went into heavy rotation on FM stations nationwide in Japan and became a smash hit. Since then, with delicate, lyrical melodies and a one-of-a-kind world view that blends innocence with playfulness, she has continued to exert a profound influence on the scene. Her voice has drawn attention as she provided vocals for soundtracks of films such as the Academy Award–nominated Studio Ghibli film When Marnie Was There, as well as for films like Pacific Rim and La La Land. In 2021, she released her own original song "WAITING" and a Japanese-language cover of Tatsuro Yamashita's "RIDE ON TIME" both digitally and on vinyl.
