Billboard Live marks the first appearance of a superband comprised of top-tier musicians/producers born in the 1960s: Yoshiyuki Sahashi (g), Gota Yashiki (ds), and Arata Saito (key). This group is widely known from Fumiya Fujii’s live performances and recordings, and they contributed to all lyrics, composition, arrangement, and production on Fujii’s 15th album, WITH THE RAWGUNS, released in 2006. In addition to Fujii, their stage commands the immense trust of artists who lead Japanese music—Kazumasa Oda, Tatsuro Yamashita, Noriyuki Makihara, Tarō Hakase, Motoharu Sano, Yōsui Inoue, Misato Watanabe, Kenji Sawada—making these three professionals’ performances a must-see! Furthermore, from the same generation, bassist Hideki Matsubara will guest, and to mark the 38th anniversary, Japan’s premier chorus and vocal group AMAZONS will also be guest performers. Look forward to a midsummer night’s entertainment show unfolding in perfect, in-sync harmony.
