Centered on guitarist/composer Goro Ito, a tribute live to the bossa nova masterpiece Getz/Gilberto will bring together a lineup of superb musicians at Billboard Live Tokyo. To mark the 50th anniversary of the recording of Getz/Gilberto, the Japan-origin all-new recording tribute album Getz/Gilberto +50, produced by Goro Ito, was released in 2013. Ten years later, this year, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the original album’s recording, the recording members will reunite: Kikuchi Naruhiko, Asako Toki, Miu Sakamoto, Naomi Fuse (naomi & goro), and others. In addition, making their first appearances are An Sally, Ishikawa Kona, Masaki Hayashi, and more, as they perform many of the iconic songs that define the Bossa Nova genre.
