An artist with overwhelming vocal power and emotionally rich expression, Leo Ieiri, and composer-arranger and music producer Satoshi Takebe will present a special session stage.

Leo Ieiri debuted in February 2012 with “Sabrina,” and that year won the Best New Artist Award at the 54th Japan Record Award, among numerous other rookie awards. Since then, many of her songs have been used as theme songs and in commercials and other tie-ups, with representative tracks such as “Shine,” “Silly,” and “Kimi ga kureta Natsu.” From hushed ballads to band-driven sounds, she expresses a wide range of music with her unique sensibility and vocal power, captivating a large fanbase. This year, her momentum shows no signs of slowing, with announcements like the Leo Ieiri YAON ~SPRING TREE~ at the Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall.

Satoshi Takebe, who will share the stage with her, has worked as a keyboardist and arranger for numerous artists, and since 1983 has served as the musical director of Yumi Matsutoya’s concert tours. He has produced Yo Hitoto, Miki Imai, Yuzu, Ken Hirai, JUJU, and others, and has also worked on the music for Studio Ghibli’s From Up on Poppy Hill. Recently, he has broadened his activities, including handling the music for the film THE FIRST SLAM DUNK and serving as the music director for Yuzuru Hanyu ICE STORY 2023 “GIFT.” Please enjoy this premium session stage up close, born from the talents of these two.
