Since its founding in 1999, the quarterly Acoustic Guitar Magazine, loved by a wide range of acoustic guitar players—from professionals to amateurs—has announced an anniversary concert to commemorate the magazine’s 100th issue.

The invited guitarists connected to the magazine are: Kazumi Watanabe, a top guitarist who, since the emergence of the “genius 17-year-old guitarist,” has shaken Japan’s jazz fans and continued to explore the guitar’s possibilities to this day; Kotaro Oshio, who captivates audiences with performances that belie the idea of a single guitar, using techniques such as open tunings and tapping; and Jin Oki, the flamenco guitarist who achieved the historic feat of becoming the first Japanese winner in the Flamenco Guitar Competition in Spain’s International Division.

Three in their own right—each outstanding in solo performance—will also present a one-night-only special ensemble stage, making for a rare and thrilling evening you won’t want to miss.
