Overview
Five-time Grammy Award–winning artist, singer, songwriter, and producer Layla Hathaway has announced a Tokyo–Osaka tour at Billboard Live. Born and raised in Chicago, Layla is the daughter of the late Donny Hathaway and grew up surrounded by music. A sought-after collaborator among today’s music legends, she has been featured in Billboard, VIBE, Essence, NPR, and the New York Times, and she earned the No.1 Adult R&B Song of 2016. At the 2021 Oscars, she was shortlisted for the Best Original Song. In June this year, Hathaway Entertainment/SRG Records released her seventh solo studio album, 'VANTABLACK,' arguably her most powerful and impressive yet. Her stunning return to the Billboard Live stage is not to be missed.
