CASIOPEA, who continues to lead Japan’s fusion scene, will hold their Billboard Live Tour for the first time since the addition of their new keyboardist, Jun Abe. Since forming in 1977, they have released numerous hits such as “ASAYAKE” and “DOMINO LINE,” drawing attention not only in Japan but also from overseas. At the end of last year, member Kiyomi Ōtaka left the group, and Jun Abe, who is active as a music producer/arranger, joined. With this new start, the band’s name has returned to its original styling, CASIOPEA. While preserving their extraordinary technical prowess, the addition of a new member marks CASIOPEA’s further evolution, and their latest performance is one not to be missed.
