Welsh-born multidisciplinary artist and producer Cate Le Bon will make her long-awaited first-ever performance in Japan at Billboard Live. With a distinctive sound that layers abstraction, texture, and timbre to evoke emotional landscapes, she continues to release work that transcends genres. To date, she has released six albums, establishing a unique musical world with 'Reward', which was nominated for the Mercury Prize, and the highly acclaimed 'Pompeii'. She has also produced for artists including Wilco's 'Cousin', Horsegirl's 'Phonetics On and On', and St. Vincent's Grammy-winning album 'All Born Screaming', earning widespread trust from many artists. She is currently based in Cardiff, and in her latest work 'Michelangelo Dying' she delicately depicts emotions surrounding love, loss, and an elusive sense of self.
