Hideki Kaji, celebrating 30 years since his solo debut, will stage the second anniversary concert at Billboard Live Tokyo under the banner “Singing Shibuya-kei.” After performing with the neo-acoustic band BRIDGE, he made his solo debut in 1996 with the Muscat E.P. Since his debut, he has deepened his ties with Swedish musicians and, with songs that incorporate elements of Swedish pop, has led the 1990s Shibuya-kei scene, continuing to expand his musical horizons to the present. For this performance, a rock-solid lineup anchored by his longtime ally Hirohisa Horie will back him up, and the “Queen of the Original Shibuya-kei,” Maki Nomiya, will be his guest; in addition, Toru Hashimoto, who has produced many popular compilations such as the Free Soul and Cafe Apres-midi series, will appear as a DJ. Look forward to a one-night-only commemorative stage.
