Overview
Celebrating 45 years since their formation! Japan’s world-renowned Jump Jive & Swing band, 吾妻光良 & The Swinging Boppers, are kicking off their customary Billboard Live Tour! This time they’ll bring their ninth album, ‘Sustainable Banquet’—their first release in about five and a half years—on this commemorative show.
With an average age of about 67 and a 12-piece lineup, their high-spirited sound and humor-filled performances only become more polished and radiant with each passing year. Please join us for their double anniversary party as they have continued to perform at their own laid-back pace through the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras.
And for the Tokyo show of this tour, guest appearances by EGO-WRAPPIN’, who collaborated on the new album ‘Sustainable Banquet’, have been confirmed! Don’t miss this incredibly upbeat collaboration on stage.
