Overview
Eddie Jobson, a keyboardist and violinist who stands at the forefront of the progressive rock world, retracts his retirement and returns to the stage for the first time in six years.
Known as a co-founder of the legendary group U.K., he has performed with renowned bands such as Curved Air, Roxy Music, Frank Zappa, King Crimson, Yes, and Jethro Tull. He joined Roxy Music at a young age as Brian Eno’s replacement, and at 21 he was recruited into Frank Zappa’s band, with his talent recognized worldwide from an early age.
After leaving the rock scene, he also found success as a composer for television and film music, scoring more than 100 works. In 2019, as a member of Roxy Music, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, becoming the first violinist to achieve this milestone.
And now, he retracts his retirement declaration and announces his return to the stage after six years. His Japan performances at Billboard Live will be held as part of a world premiere limited to just four performances worldwide.
Joining him on stage are a luxurious lineup: Mark Bonilla (Keith Emerson Band), Mike Keneally (Frank Zappa’s Band), Marco Minnemann (The Aristocrats). Filming and recording are strictly prohibited for this show.
Witness a night where every moment becomes eternal.
