CASIOPEA, who continues to lead Japan’s fusion scene, will launch a spring three-city Billboard Live tour. Since forming in 1977, they have released numerous hits such as “ASAYAKE” and “DOMINO LINE,” drawing attention not only in Japan but also from audiences overseas. In 2025, keyboardist Jun Abe joined, and with this fresh start the band’s name was restored to its original spelling, CASIOPEA. In May of the same year, they held their first show with the new lineup here at Billboard Live, and in August released the album “TRUE BLUE,” which includes songs performed on that tour. About a year since the start of the fifth lineup, enjoy performances of transcendent technique that cross eras and nations, in an intimate club space.
