Mononcle, a duo formed by Sara Yoshida and Ryuta Tsunoda, releases genre-blind music that blends jazz elements with richly poetic pop. They go on stage at Billboard Live in early summer. In addition to appearing at large festivals such as FUJI ROCK FESTIVAL, their 2017 album 『世界はここにしかないって上手に言って』 topped jazz charts on various streaming platforms, and the following year they released the self-produced album 『RELOADING CITY』. In 2019 they organized their own event “Mon Japonisme,” inviting guests Nakamura Emi and tofubeats. In 2020, their song “Every One Minute” was used as a commercial, and in 2021 they digitally released a cover of Morning Musume.’s “Dakite HOLD ON ME!” Their high-caliber vocals and instrumental prowess, along with a refined pop sensibility, have drawn attention from discerning music lovers and notable artists across genres, so don’t miss the latest live performance from this songwriting duo.
