Chay, a singer-songwriter whose down-to-earth, relatable lyrics resonate with many listeners, makes her Billboard Live debut. Having aimed to be a singer since childhood, she began composing songs on the piano in elementary school. When she entered university, she started playing the guitar, and after performing in street concerts and other activities, she made her CD debut in 2012. Her February 2015 release, "Anata ni Koi o Shite Mimashita" (I Tried to Fall in Love with You), was chosen as the theme song for a drama and became a huge hit, surpassing 500,000 downloads. In addition to her music, she has worked as a fashion model and made her acting debut in the film "Dance With Me," making her activities span a wide range.
