Yasuko Agawa, who rose to prominence as a leading figure of the 1980s jazz boom and later earned acclaim in the club scene, has attracted cross-generational support with her artistry. Since debuting as a jazz vocalist in 1978, she has collaborated with many legendary international musicians, including Sergio Mendes, Joe Sample, Tommy Flanagan, and Pino Palladino.
