Yoshihiro Naruse, IKUO, and Takayuki Murata—the three, from different generations and genres, forming the strongest bass unit—The Choppers Revolution, will make its first appearance on the Billboard Live Yokohama stage as they approach their 10th anniversary next year. Centered on the “chopper” technique, this unprecedented triple-bass unit captivates audiences with a remarkably wide range of performances spanning fusion, funk, rock, metal, pop, jazz, and more, and is popularly known as “ChopaRevo.” They will be joined by support musicians Akito Shirai, a keyboardist who has recently been a dominant presence in Japan’s fusion scene, and the formidable twin-drum duo Kei Bandō and Chisato Kawaguchi, for a grand, non-stop display of virtuosic technique battles!
