Overview
Hitomi Ishikawa, who has produced numerous hits including Machibuse and The Nutcracker, makes her first appearance here. She debuted in 1978 with the single "Turn Right" and has since been active as an idol renowned for her vocal prowess. In 1981, her single "Machibuse" became a big hit, and she even appeared on the NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen, gaining popularity for her wide-ranging activities such as hosting TV programs and voicing characters in NHK's puppet show "Purinpurin Monogatari." In 2018, she celebrated her 40th anniversary since debut and released the 40th anniversary album "Watashi no Mainichi" (My Everyday) on Teichiku Entertainment; tickets for the 40th anniversary concert sold out in under an hour, and additional performances were added. Additionally, her first live DVD "Watashi no Mainichi," released on May 19, 2021, ranked 7th on the Oricon Weekly Chart, underscoring her enduring popularity.
