Michiya Haruhata, the guitarist for Japan’s representative band TUBE, has decided to launch his first solo tour at Billboard Live in February 2022, as he enters his 35th year since his solo debut. In Haruhata’s career, which has seen him be active as a solo artist alongside the band, this will be his first time performing with such a simple lineup, and as a first step toward his future musical endeavors, this new challenge is certainly worth a look. The lineup is completed by keyboardist Yusuke Miyazaki, who has frequently supported TUBE, with rotating guests including guitarist Tetsurō Toyama and cellist Sonoko Muraoka. With the three focusing around the guitar, their three distinct personalities are sure to showcase the appeal of instrumental music to the fullest. As the tour title “SPRING HAS COME” suggests, please look forward to a new kind of “spring” that can only be seen at Billboard Live.
