Neighbors Complain
Note: In response to the Japanese government's and local authorities' decision to extend the period of the “Priority Measures to Prevent the Spread of Infection,” we will bring the performance time forward (announced March 8).
Overview
Neighbors Complain, a band based in Osaka formed in 2014, will take the stage at Billboard Live in spring. Rooted in R&B, they captivate listeners with a groove that blends each member’s individuality into one, while continuing to pursue a sound unique to the four of them. They performed street gigs in a band format before their debut, and as the band name suggests—taken from the idea that their loud playing might have been a “neighborhood nuisance”—their live abilities honed through years of performance are highly regarded. In 2018, they appeared as the representative Japanese artist at the world-renowned festival JAVA JAZZ FES.2018 held in Jakarta. A night of exquisite sound from a band drawing attention from around the world is coming, and your heart will leap.
