The Eternal Young General, Yuzo Kayama, takes the stage in Yokohama. Since his singer debut, as a pioneer of the singer-songwriter movement he has demonstrated a versatile musicality that incorporates electric and Hawaiian styles, and as an actor he has appeared in numerous works, earning nationwide popularity through his multi-faceted achievements. In recent years, he has engaged with artists across various genres through sampling of “Oyome ni Oide” and remix albums, winning support across generations. Although he was struck by illness in 2020 and forced to suspend activities, he made his comeback with a streaming live show in 2021, then stood on stage in December 2021 for a live performance with an audience at Billboard Live Tokyo to mark a triumphant return. Tickets sold out instantly, and for those who could not witness his appearance, he will return for an encore in Yokohama. He will perform a set featuring some of his most popular “best” numbers among his many hits. Please surely enjoy these gem-like classics.
