Based in New York and roaming the world, Japan’s esteemed female jazz pianist Chihiro Yamanaka will again take the Billboard Live stage this year in a trio configuration. Her new album Ballads, released just last December, is her career-first ballad-focused best-of collection to commemorate her 20th anniversary since debut. Selecting ballads from her past releases and including several tracks newly recorded for solo piano, the release has been widely acclaimed and topped many Jazz charts.
