Overview
One of Brazil’s greatest treasures and the world’s pop maestro, Sergio Mendes, is set to take the stage. He rose to prominence in the 1960s as a standard-bearer of the bossa nova boom, and the 1966 album Sergio Mendes & Brasil '66' and its track Mas Que Nada achieved worldwide hits. Since then, as a producer, composer, keyboardist, and vocalist, he has influenced the music world with his wide-ranging charm and talent. Having produced a string of hits by arranging a diverse repertoire into refined bossa nova and stylish AOR-inspired styles, he delivers the magical Brazilian pop sound that the world has fallen in love with—please enjoy the show to your heart’s content.
