Robert Glasper, one of the world’s top pianists and a leading figure in the next generation of jazz, who has elevated a fusion of diverse genres—jazz, gospel, hip-hop, R&B, and alternative rock—into a contemporary style, takes the stage. In 2012, after releasing the groundbreaking album Black Radio under the name Robert Glasper Experiment, he achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the first pianist to win the Best R&B Album category at the 55th Grammy Awards. In 2020, he won the Best R&B Song at the 63rd Grammy Awards for “Better Than I Imagined,” featuring H.E.R. and Me’Shell Ndegeocello. Throughout, he has built a rich career, delivering cultural messages while showcasing artistic excellence. February 2022 saw the release of his long-awaited new album, Black Radio 3, making his latest live stage a must-see.
