World-renowned jazz pianist Yosuke Yamashita, known for his distinctive playing style, makes his debut at Billboard Live Yokohama! After forming the Yosuke Yamashita Trio in 1969, he broadened his activities to collaborations with top jazz artists from around the world, as well as performances with taiko drums and the symphony orchestra; in 1988 he formed the Yosuke Yamashita New York Trio. He has performed worldwide. Yamashita, who has long been at the forefront of the professional scene, will take the stage this time with a luxurious lineup including Kosuke Sakai (bass), Tamaya Honda (drums), Shinpei Ruike (trumpet), and Tetsuro Kawashima (tenor sax).
