The five-piece band Klang Ruler, led by yonkey (Vo), a producer/track-maker hailed as Gen Z’s No.1. Their cover of Black Biscuits’ "Timing ~Timing~" is rearranged with a lo-fi texture into a disco-pop vibe, and topped Billboard JAPAN’s “TikTok Weekly Top 20” for six consecutive weeks. Meanwhile, the four-piece band chilldspot, led by Hiyune (Vo, G), captivates listeners with songs centered on Hiyune’s ennui-laden, soulful voice—at times melancholic and beautiful, at times straightforward and deeply moving.

These next-generation bands, each drawing considerable attention, will host a long-awaited two-band show. In reference to the event title “Wedge,” we invite you to experience up close the genre-defying music the two acts weave together in a tightly connected groove as summer opens.
