Senri Kawaguchi, who started drumming at age five and, from age eight, studied under Mr. Kōzō Suganuma, known as the “King of Strokes,” is expanding her activities as one of the most talked-about young drummers in Japan’s modern jazz-fusion scene, and this year she reaches the 20th anniversary of her drumming career. To commemorate this milestone, she will host a special twin-drum live! Her twin-drum partner will be the accomplished Riku Taira, who also began drumming at age six and, since his teens, has built a professional résumé spanning a wide range of genres and has appeared many times on the Billboard Live stage. Don’t miss the powerful drumming from these two young prodigies!
