Elevating the currents of jazz/funk and world music, and sweeping the 80s mainstream with refined pop, the UK fusion pop/funk band Level 42 makes a long-awaited return to Billboard Live. Formed in 1979, they have evolved their sound with virtuosic playing as their weapon; their signature tracks "Something About You" and "Lessons In Love" were major hits not only in Britain but also in the United States, leaving a lasting mark on pop/rock history from the 80s onward. Since then, after disbanding and reuniting, they have continued to tour vigorously. Their glamorous stage shows, including Mark King's slap bass, are a must-see.
