45 years have passed since her electrifying debut as Pink Lady, and 40 years since the release of her hit solo debut single “Suzume” (lyrics and composition by Miyuki Nakajima). Keiko Masuda will hold an anniversary concert on her birthday. In July, she will release an anniversary project, “And Then From Here… [40th Anniversary Platinum Album],” which covers solo songs from the Pink Lady era, singles released under her solo name, and new songs. The title embodies both looking back on her past journey and her aspirations for the future of her singing career. Her first Billboard Live performance is sure to be a premium night distilled from that trajectory.
