Ayako Fuji 35th Anniversary Live
Ayako Fuji
Overview
Ayako Fuji debuted from CBS/Sony in June 1987. In addition to her signature songs “こころ酒,” “むらさき雨情,” and “花のワルツ,” she has pursued a wide range of activities, including lyric writing, composing, and essay writing, and in 2013 released a jazz album. Although an enka singer, she has broad artistic endeavors. This year marks her 35th anniversary since debut, and she will appear on the Billboard Live stage for the first time. For this performance, she will deliberately set aside her “main line” and present a special set without enka and without traditional dress, focusing on covers of Western and Japanese pop songs, including jazz. Look forward to a one-night-only showtime that will unleash a charm beyond enka.
<Addendum: September 13>
Guest guitarist Kenta Harada to make a special appearance!
A legendary guitarist in the Japanese rock world who has contributed to recordings and live performances for various artists such as Koji Kikkawa, ASKA, and Maki Ohguro. He has been on good terms with Ayako Fuji, who loves rock, since their 20th-anniversary concert, and this 35th-anniversary Billboard Live Yokohama will feature Kenta Harada as a special guest!
