Celebrating his 70th year in music, Sadao Watanabe is one of Japan’s premier saxophonists. This year, his energetic activities remain strong, including headlining the outdoor festival FUJI & SUN '22. This time, the six‑piece “Sadao Watanabe Group,” featuring Watanabe on alto sax along with keyboards, electric guitar, electric bass, drums, and percussion, will light up Billboard Live Yokohama. From authentic jazz standards to swing tunes reminiscent of a big band, and Brazilian-flavored ballads, please enjoy a richly varied musical program.
