This spring, Emi Okamoto, the main vocalist of Friends who had a successful Billboard Tour, makes her Billboard Live solo debut. It marks her first solo headlining show in two and a half years, a highly anticipated stage for fans. She began pursuing solo activities in earnest in 2014 and released her first full-length album, “gappy,” in October 2019. Recently she has contributed as a guest on RIP SLYME songs, provided lyrics for acts such as Sexy Zone and TEAM SHACHI, and worked as a radio program host, broadening her activities across genres. This concert will be a special stage with a band setup featuring keyboard and drums, and she will also play bass while singing. Before the show, her longtime ally DJ HASEBE, with whom she has collaborated several times, will add flair with a DJ set. While she is blooming with a wide range of talents, this solo Billboard Live one-night performance is expected to be a memorable night.
