ANRI Mind Cruisin’ with #bestbuddies
Anri
Anri
Overview
Anri, who continues to deepen her expressive power as an artist and shine at the forefront of the scene, will appear at Billboard Live in spring. Debuting in 1978 with “Listening to Olivia,” she scored major hits in the 1980s with “The Sorrow Won’t Stop” and “SUMMER CANDLES,” and in the 1990s with “Future For You.” While the recent global city-pop boom has brought her into the spotlight for listeners both in Japan and overseas, her activity in the Peach & Apricot unit with Mariya Takeuchi and her involvement in the theme song “CAT’S EYE 2023” for the animated film Lupin III vs. Cat’s Eye, slated for release in 2023, have also drawn attention. With a crystal-clear vocal and a highly refined, sophisticated sound that captivates listeners, she invites you to a luxurious, intimate club-stage—don’t miss it.
