Since her debut in 1980, EPO has brightened the City Pop and J-Pop scenes with hits such as “Saturday Night is Paradise” and “U, fu, fu, fu.” Now more than 40 years into her career, she continues to craft increasingly refined music. She will deliver not only songs that have recently drawn renewed attention for being at the very heart of “city pop,” but also the evolution of that sound—“EPO’s Pop in 2023”—together with the indispensable city-pop sound rock band Sentimental City Romance, trombonist Sato Satoshi, and guitarist Yoshiyuki Sahashi. Look forward to two special days: the ever-popular Osaka performances and the Yokohama show, which also falls on EPO’s birthday!
