An exquisite vocalist and beauty from Denmark, the diva Sine Ai, has finally graced the Billboard Live Yokohama stage. Since her 2003 debut, she has captivated audiences with her solid vocal technique and exceptional songwriting ability, and with a voice that evokes Nordic melancholy—a gentle, enveloping dark atmosphere. She has earned international acclaim. Last year at Billboard Live Osaka, she delivered a special performance with Kansai’s pride, the long-established big band Arrow Jazz Orchestra, and her powerful performance drew widespread attention. For this concert, pianist Jakob Kristoffersen, her longtime partner and accompanist who has worked with many renowned jazz singers, will join her, along with Japan’s acclaimed players Kengo Nakamura and Kazuhiro Odagiri.
