With an overwhelming performance, the accomplished saxophonist Masato Honda, who has earned high praise both domestically and internationally, will appear at Billboard Live with his own flagship band. This time, Honda’s backing lineup features Jun Kajihara (G), Mitsuru Sudo (B), Hiroyuki Noritake (Ds), and Shuto Nakagawa (Key), the young composer-arranger and pianist who has won numerous awards, including the Grand Prize at the 2018 MMEA Composition Contest. In addition to his own band, the hyper-saxophonist is actively involved in many areas—session work with a multitude of artists, recording, and production—and, with a rock-solid lineup, delivers a premium performance you won’t want to miss.
