In 1988, she debuted as part of the all-female duo Wink. After winning the Japan Record Award and appearing on NHK’s Kōhaku Uta Gassen with “Lonely Tropical Fish,” she began a solo career in 1996. Shoko Aida, who has continued to pursue a wide range of activities as a singer and actress, will make her first appearance at Billboard Live in her 35th anniversary year since debut. This is a stage where many emotions intertwine, delivering a performance of “with love.” Welcoming guitarist/producer Jiro Yoshida, she will perform a special set with an all-star band comprised of top musicians.
