Masatoshi Nakamura, who has shown versatility as both an actor and a singer, takes the stage. He made his lead acting debut in 1974 in the drama Ware-ra Seishun! (Our Youth!), and the insert song he sang for that drama, “Fureai,” went on to sell over one million copies. Since then, he has appeared in numerous dramas and films, including more than 100 leading roles, and he has continued to actively pursue singing, giving rise to many famous songs, such as the drama’s theme song “Our Journey” and “Koi mo nureru machikado,” for which Keisuke Kuwata wrote the lyrics and composed the music. Having performed nationwide concerts every year since his debut, totaling over 1,500, he has recently continued to take on new challenges, such as performing in full orchestras. Masatoshi Nakamura, who has stood at the forefront for many years, presents a premium stage featuring a carefully curated selection of songs from his career.
