Last year, Motochitose, who celebrated her 20th anniversary since debut, held the first live project “Augusta Camp in U-NEXT 〜Favorite Songs〜” at Billboard Live Yokohama. This project, a collaboration between the music office “Office Augusta” and the streaming platform “U-NEXT,” invites artists to freely select the songs they currently want to sing and share—regardless of era—and to weave in covers as well, so that their distinctive “voice” can be fully enjoyed.

The second act to appear is Motochitose, born on Amami Ōshima in Kagoshima Prefecture, raised with the island’s unique culture of “shima-uta” (folk songs), whose distinctive vocal style and mystical singing voice captivate listeners. Since debuting in 2002 with “Wadatsumi no Ki,” she has continued to convey universal messages of love and peace through many songs. Expectations run high for a one-night-only premium stage that will envelop the venue with her unique voice.
