At the Karaoke World Championship (KWC), the highly anticipated vocalist Ryota Kaizō rose to world champion for two consecutive years, 2016 and 2017, and has swept awards on many karaoke programs. He made his major debut in 2018 with the single “Ai no Katachi” (The Shape of Love), and won the New Artist Award at the 2019 Japan Record Award. In 2023, entering his fifth year since debut, under the project titled “Anniversary Every Week Project,” he is challenging a world record for consecutive song releases that has continued for over a year.
