Ayami Mutō, who built her career as a member of Karen Girl's and Sakura Gakuin and is now active as a solo artist, will appear at Billboard Live. The world of her music—somewhat nostalgic yet new—draws from 80s music, and in November last year she released her fourth mini-album, 'glitter beat'. The track "Handsome Lady" was written by Ai Furihata, a voice actress/artist who bonded over their shared love of the 80s. Mutō had previously appeared as a guest at Furihata’s Billboard Live performance in July last year, but this time she is headlining her own show.
