Showmore, the project led by vocalist Manami Nezu and keyboardist/producer Atsushi Inoue. An encore performance of their Billboard Live Tokyo and Osaka shows, held in June to great acclaim, has been hastily announced. They create rich musicality rooted in jazz and R&B and move the heart with emotionally charged lyrics. In a special lineup that adds the Shuhei Ito–led string quartet to their usual band arrangement, plus a chorus by ZIN (Soulflex), they will reproduce the songs in full. There’s no doubt it will be a premium night, with even the early tracks and guest-participation songs given new arrangements and reborn.
