Overview
Zapp, the legendary funk band that ruled the 1980s, makes a long-awaited return to Billboard Live. Carrying on the late Roger Troutman’s vision, they’ve carved their name into the history of Black music with a distinctive sound built around the talk box. Beyond their countless timeless hits that have kept the floor buzzing, they continued to refresh their hot sound while touring the world, including releasing a new album in 2018 after 17 years. This marks their first on-stage appearance since their commemorative year-end countdown concert at the end of 2019—the first countdown of the Reiwa era. Don’t miss the chance to feel up close the groove that embodies the essence of funk.
